Dr. Dattilo was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended Fordham University and obtained his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1978. He completed his five years Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Presbyterian University Hospital of Pittsburgh in 1984. Since 1986, he has served as the chief of the division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, while also serving as a clinical professor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Dattilo has lectured and published on many of his special interests such as dental implants, reconstructive facial surgery, and the surgical treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Dattilo also has an interest in providing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the third world. Since 1991, he has traveled to West Africa and South America as part of a volunteer surgical mission where he has provided surgical treatment for children and adults suffering from a multitude of oral and facial deformities.
For his efforts both in and out of the hospital, Dr. Dattilo has been awarded a variety of awards and grants recognizing his leadership, spirituality and humanitarianism. Additionally, Dr. Dattilo is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. James Hall practices Oral Maxillofacial Surgery in Mount Lebanon, PA and downtown Pittsburgh, PA. He is a third generation oral surgeon. His grandfather, Dr. Dewitt Hall, started the practice in 1920 and was the first exodontist in Pittsburgh. Dr. Dewitt Hall was joined by his three sons and one nephew. William E. Hall's son, Dr. William James Hall, began his practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1991.
Dr. William James Hall graduated from Duquesne University in 1981 and obtained his graduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1986. He successfully completed his internship at Montifiore Hospital in Pittsburgh in 1987.
Dr. Hall completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas, Texas from 1986 to 1991. Parkland Hospital is known throughout the world for research and teaching in the field of corrective jaw surgery. He received advanced training in implant dentistry, facial trauma and facial reconstruction as will as management of wisdom teeth.
Dr. Hall is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, having received his board certification in March 1993.
Dr. Hall is on staff a Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, where he serves as Deputy Chief of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and St. Clair Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Hall is a member of and subscribes to the code of ethics of many professional organizations including the Academy of Osteointegration. He currently holds an executive officer position of The Western Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Hall and his wife, Kathy, enjoy raising their four daughters.
